New-Generation Ford Figo

New-Generation Ford Figo Preview..

                                                                                     Expected price: Rs.s. 5 Lakh - Rs.s. 7 Lakh
                                                                                      Expected launch: Mid 2015

The next generation Ford Figo will make its global debut in Brazil before making its way to India by early 2015. Like the Ford EcoSport, this hatchback has also been developed by Ford Brazil, indicating that this product will primarily target emerging markets, including India. The Brazilian market will get a naturally aspirated 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol mill, capable of churning out 85bhp, while running on gasoline and ethanol. But the India-bound version might continue to be powered by the existing engine options - 1.4-litre diesel and 1.2-litre petrol. If rumours are to be believed, Ford India might also launch the new-gen Figo with the 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine that also powers the EcoSport.

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Preview

Expected price: Rs. 7.25 Lakh - Rs. 10.5 Lakh
                                                             Expected launch: October, 2014

The Ciaz's design is inspired by the 'Suzuki Authentics Concept' and looks totally new as compared to the SX4. It features sharper character lines, while the surface looks more contemporary. The Ciaz will also get a wide chrome grille and large wraparound headlamps.
Maruti Suzuki is on a mission to reinvent itself and has set its course to success with a whole load of new models of which the first was the Celerio hatchback. It will soon be followed by the Ciaz sedan which is expected to launch sometime next month and will replace the SX4 sedan which has been on sale in India since 2006
The Ciaz is believed to be based on the Ertiga platform, which in turn borrows from the Swift hatchback. This means Maruti will have the option of component sharing to cut cost and bring in economies of scale.

Engine and Gearbox details
The petrol version of the Ciaz will be powered by the 1.4-litre K-Series engine from the Ertiga producing 93bhp and 130Nm of torque. The base variants will be available with a five-speed manual transmission. The diesel on the other hand is expected to be a 1.3-litre Multijet unit that produces 90bhp and 200Nm of torque. Both engines will be offered with a five-speed manual, while the petrol may also get the option of the AMT from the Celerio.
Spy pictures reveal that the Ciaz will be offered in six variants-three and diesel of which a new variant is the VXi+/VDi+ which is the new mid-level variant.

 Review

Bajaj Pulsar 200SS the super sports bike is a superior version of Pulsar 200NS. The main difference between 200NS and 200SS is the long fairing which supports the vehicle during higher speed. Although the price difference between these two vehicles is not much the added features are really valuable. The stylish design of the bike is the major plus point of it and this doesn't mean to compromise in performance as it is gives great pickup and mileage. On the whole Bajaj Pulsar 200SS is an interesting bike packed with lot many technical features.

Engine

The new Pulsar 200SS is powered by 200cc, triple spark, 4 valve, single cylinder, SOHC engine. It delivers the maximum power of about 23.17 Bhp at 9500 rpm and delivers the maximum torque of 18.3 Nm at 8000 rpm. It is the first single cylinder bike which follows triple spark technology that helps in complete combustion of the fuel thereby enhancing the fuel efficiency. The design technology used in the engine helps to give greater fuel efficiency and higher performance.

Design And Comfort

Look wise Pulsar 200SS is very impressive and appealing. The front portion of the bike is the main attraction as it adds sporty appearance to it. The bold fairing, stylish rear view mirrors, fancy headlamp and large petrol tank gives great impression. The LED tail lamps, sporty split seat and alloy wheels are other noted features of the design. It is not only the style the comfort provided by the bike is also pretty good.

Ride And Handling

With many innovative and technological features Pulsar 200SS provides greater riding and handling experience. The better suspension and braking system used in this bike helps to give comfortable and pain free ride. The switches of the bike are placed in a right position so that the rider doesn't feel the discomfort. Further the tubeless tyres used make it best suited for off roads.

Honda CBR 300R Review

Honda unveiled the 2014 CBR 300R, for the first time, at the China International Motorcycle Trade exhibition in mid-October 2013. It was again exhibited at the 2013 EICMA event at Milan, Italy.

The CBR 300R is a bigger version of the CBR 250R. The length of the CBR 300 R is 2035 mm, width is 720mm and height is 1120mm. When we compare it to the CBR 250 R, the length is increased by 3 mm, width is same and height has decreased by 7mm. Honda has also increased the wheelbase of CBR300 by 13mm to 1380mm. The ground clearance of both CBR 300 R and CBR 250 R is the same, which is 145mm. Both the bikes get the same wheels- 110/70-17M/C for the front and 140/70-17M/C at the rear.

Design wise Honda has completely changed the fascia of the CBR 300R. The front headlamps and visor design are inspired from higher CBR models. Compared to CBR 250R, this motorcycle is far more aggressive and edgy. The rest of the panels have been given a minor tweak. The instrument cluster and the handlebar remain the same as the CBR 250 R.

However, the new Honda CBR 300R gets a new and bigger engine than the Honda CBR 250R. The 2014 Honda CBR 300R will be powered by a 286cc single cylinder liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine. This motor produces 30.4bhp of power at 8500rpm and 27Nm of torque at 7250rpm. The motorcycle is also lighter than its younger sibling by 6.8kg making an impressive power to weight ratio that will directly help the overall performance.

Honda's new CBR 300R is an answer to Kawasaki Ninja 250R’s replacer, the Ninja 300R. Though the Ninja 300R that produces 39bhp is more powerful than the CBR 300R, it would put up a tough fight if it is priced lower than the Ninja 300R when it will be launched in India.

Bajaj Pulsar SS400 (Upcoming) Review,Price,details,etc..

Bajaj Pulsar SS400 (Upcoming)

Images

Expected Launch: October 2014
Expected Price: Rs. 1,60,000-1,80,000
Bajaj Pulsar SS400 is not launched in India yet.
Bajaj Motorcycles unveiled the Pulsar SS400 at the 2014 Auto Expo. This bike will be part of Bajaj’s super sport family that will consist of fully- faired motorcycles. It also includes its rumoured small sibling, the Pulsar SS200.

The overall design of the Pulsar SS400 is aggressive and looks very busy. The fairing is huge with many lines that make it look overdone. The fuel tank is large as well and we expect it to carry at least 15-litres of fuel. The chassis is new with the design bit taken from the NS200. The taillight is new and the design is something that’s never been seen on any Indian bike. The SS400 features an analog tachometer and digital speedometer along with a small screen that will display rest of the details. ABS is standard in this bike but not yet confirmed if it can be switched off.

The Pulsar SS400 is powered by a 375cc liquid cooled fuel-injected engine. Bajaj Auto is tightlipped about the power figures but we expect it to be slightly lower than the 390 Duke. The Pune-based manufacturer has reworked this engine which now gets its patented triple spark technology.

The Bajaj Pulsar SS400 will be launched in India later this year. We are expecting Bajaj to launch the Pulsar SS200 before the SS400 which we think will be priced between Rs 1.6 lakh and Rs 1.8 lakh (ex-showroom). Bajaj will launch the Pulsar SS400 in many attractive colours like yellow and blue. .

 KTM RC-200

 Images

                                               Expected Price : Rs.1,60,000

KTM RC 200

The engine is the same liquid cooled 200cc mill from the naked bike that produces 25bhp and 19Nm of torque. It has been mated to a six-speed sequential box and is chain driven. Despite the faring, the RC200 weighs just 137 kilos (without fuel) which funnily enough is just 1kg more than the Duke 200. On the safety front, the RC200 gets a 300mm front disc and 230mm disc in the rear with the former getting a radially mounted ABS mechanism. We expect that this feature will soon make its way into the naked Duke 200 also.

The bike might be launched for the Indian market in the later half of this year.
