               The next generation Ford Figo will make its global debut in Brazil before making its way to India by early 2015. Like the Ford EcoSport, this hatchback has also been developed by Ford Brazil, indicating that this product will primarily target emerging markets, including India. The Brazilian market will get a naturally aspirated 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol mill, capable of churning out 85bhp, while running on gasoline and ethanol. But the India-bound version might continue to be powered by the existing engine options - 1.4-litre diesel and 1.2-litre petrol. If rumours are to be believed, Ford India might also launch the new-gen Figo with the 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine that also powers the EcoSport.

    The Ciaz's design is inspired by the 'Suzuki Authentics Concept' and looks totally new as compared to the SX4. It features sharper character lines, while the surface looks more contemporary. The Ciaz will also get a wide chrome grille and large wraparound headlamps.

Maruti Suzuki is on a mission to reinvent itself and has set its course to success with a whole load of new models of which the first was the Celerio hatchback. It will soon be followed by the Ciaz sedan which is expected to launch sometime next month and will replace the SX4 sedan which has been on sale in India since 2006

The Ciaz is believed to be based on the Ertiga platform, which in turn borrows from the Swift hatchback. This means Maruti will have the option of component sharing to cut cost and bring in economies of scale.

Engine and Gearbox details

The petrol version of the Ciaz will be powered by the 1.4-litre K-Series engine from the Ertiga producing 93bhp and 130Nm of torque. The base variants will be available with a five-speed manual transmission. The diesel on the other hand is expected to be a 1.3-litre Multijet unit that produces 90bhp and 200Nm of torque. Both engines will be offered with a five-speed manual, while the petrol may also get the option of the AMT from the Celerio.

Spy pictures reveal that the Ciaz will be offered in six variants-three and diesel of which a new variant is the VXi+/VDi+ which is the new mid-level variant.

              The GLA concept car was first unveiled at the 2014 Shanghai Motor Show in April and is now all set to reach Indian dealerships by September this year. This indicates that the first GLA variant to land in India will be powered by a 2.1-litre diesel motor that makes 135bhp and 300Nm of torque. It will come mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

   Mitsubishi came up with a brand new generation of its SUV, Pajero. This geneartion is christened as Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 4x4 Manual. The VGT reins in the power of the exhaust emissions, ensuring a constant delivery of fresh air to the engine for perfect output and performance. The intercooler allows more air to be pumped to the cylinders for more complete combustion and greater power. The new Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is available only as a diesel variant. It offers an average mileage of 11 kmpl and the fuel tank capacity is around 75 liters .       The 2015 Audi A3 and S3 is an all-new model and ditches its predecessor's hatchback body style for a traditional sedan. Despite the slight loss in cargo area and practicality, Audi predicts the sedan will resonate with more American consumers and should help boost sales of the entry-level luxury compact that enters a tougher segment thanks to new players such as the Mercedes-Benz CLA250 and CLA45 AMG. That said, the upcoming A3 e-tron plug-in hybrid will arrive in hatchback form.

Offered with an extensive choice of powertrains, the 2015 should appeal to a wide range of customers from the budge-minded to the performance seekers. The base model, front-drive A3 is powered by a turbocharged 1.8-liter I-4 that makes 170 hp, while those wanting all-wheel drive will have to step up to the 220-hp, 2.0-liter turbo-four. Both engines are mated to a six-speed dual-clutch automatic. The upcoming high-performance S3, also powered by a turbocharged inline-four, will make an estimated 295 hp and a new diesel engine is on the way, too, as well as the aforementioned plug-in hybrid.

The A3 is sold in thee trim levels starting with the Premium model, which comes standard with leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, xenon lights, and split folding rear seats. The 2015 A3 Premium plus adds aluminum accents, an advanced key system, dual climate control, heated front seats, and 18-inch rims. Finally, the top-of-the-line Prestige gets full LED headlights, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, navigation, and an S line appearance package.
